England didn't really struggle vs Afghanistan, but yea the wobbles vs Sri Lanka and Ireland is what would have given India hope here. England are softer through the middle, but we were too reliant on new-ball swing to dislodge the openers. That wasn't available, we bowled poorly and we've been wrecked. Middle order is irrelevant.

Much like NZ vs Pak actually. Same dynamic. NZ too reliant on new ball h00p and it didn't happen for them.

I think we are witnessing history from Hales. This has to be England's greatest knock in a T20 World Cup from Hales ...
