If you had to make a Flop XI from those eliminated,
what would it look like ?
what would it look like ?
His catching was quality though. Would've done great in the Chris Jordan role.Rabada for one. Very very underwhelming tournament. Love the bloke, but something looks amiss in his bowling the last 6 months
Don't know whether its more mental/psychological issues e.g burnout, or whether he's regressed as a T20 bowler?
Rabadas t20 career has always felt like that in my opinion. He either gets early wickets or is very poor, his not very consistent in this form.Rabada for one. Very very underwhelming tournament. Love the bloke, but something looks amiss in his bowling the last 6 months

EDIT : Random question, but has Rabada had a BBL contract before ? Might have played a factor in how poorly he bowled. Bowled the wrong lengths from what I saw
that's the neat part, nobody expected anything from him so he did not flop at allIf Temba Bavuma is not captain of this team, the team has no credibility.
That’s true, everyone knew he was there for non cricketing reasons. South African cricket is gonskithat's the neat part, nobody expected anything from him so he did not flop at all
I don't remember an innings of note from David too. Almost just Stoinis who carried the team.I'll have a go
Warner
Finch
Marsh
Etc
Etc
Starc
Cummins
Hazelwood
David only got to bat twice and faced a total of 18 balls tbf, played a few good knocks leading into the WC, similar situation w/Wade.I don't remember an innings of note from David too. Almost just Stoinis who carried the team.
I hate this total hipster Aus culture of just assuming all the Test players are **** at T20 and that Aus would've won the tournamen if only the selectors weren't dumb... but Ellis definitely should've been playing.I would have had Ellis instead of Cummins. Has anyone better T20 stats?
5 games 15 wickets at 8.53 econ 6.40 s/r 8.0
Was the call on Kane that bad? He had 15 odd wickets @18 this year before the WC in t20I, while starc has a similar number of wickets @23 and Cummins was averaging 30 and going at 9's.I hate this total hipster Aus culture of just assuming all the Test players are **** at T20 and that Aus would've won the tournamen if only the selectors weren't dumb... but Ellis definitely should've been playing.
The worst selection was probably Kane R ahead of Ellis in the squad. They then selected him as a specialist death bowler in the eleven which made it worse given what Ellis does.
