Lucky that drop didn't cos the Bangers, he's not a fella you want to be giving chances to.

Rohit is having a really lean tourney too. Not alone among some of the bigger names. Warner and Babar have been low as well.
rohit is our finch

I noticed this aswell ..

And in KL Rahul's case I'm truly baffled , cause he has T20 hundreds and he's absolutely smashed bowling attacks in his career in this format opening the batting...

What are the batting coaches or the head coaches doing? Nobody seems to be tapping these top order bats on the shoulder and saying "Come on man we need more from you your SR is not acceptable" ...I mean Rahul himself should be able to figure it out , he didn't get selected for India playing like this ..Is it a case of giving a player enough rope to hang himself? Pretty toxic!

Rahul seems to have heard me , amazing how often this happens when you talk a player up , for better or for worse ?

I wondered about this. Whether it might be because it's a WC and they're looking for someone there to anchor things if wickets are lost. Not an awful theory but it hinders things when you're actually in decent shape, wickets-wise.

It also really doesn't explain Finch from an Aus POV, I guess though his is just a decline of a once great LO player rather than a strategic pick of someone who bats slower
He holds 2/3 of the highest T20 scores. Sad decline but he's surely in the top 5 T20 openers ever.

How is Athar Ali Khan a commentator
Seriously though does he sound more eloquent in another language or something? In English he’s basically just a combination of annoying voice, constant shouting, and not appearing to have had an actual thought about cricket in his life.
