I reckon we should play Macewell tonight. England has a lot of lefthanders - Malan, Stokes, Moeen, Curran, and Macewell is better with the bat and in the field than Sodhi.
Macewell was only ever picked to piss CW off, as revenge for the Fire Gary Stead thread. Now that he actually deserves a place in a format his biggest utility lies in being unjustly left out from it.

Don't worry though, I'm sure we'll see him in the Tests against Pakistan.

Man, England players and fans must be so nervous today. So much at stake and they're up against a form side in a country where their test team hasn't won a game in over a decade and so many of their players carry so many scars. Plus they're in Brisbane where it'll be hot and humid, the pitch will be bouncy - nothing like their home conditions at all.

I really hope all our England fans here on CW are ok and that the team isn't overplaying the match time and again in their fragile little minds before it actually starts. I'd really hate to see them under perform and Chris Hinton to go missing for another decade or so.

NZ are presumably supremely relaxed after enjoying an evening in the jewel of Australian cities.
It's a sewer which would remind them of the worst of their homeland, assuming there is anywhere as bad.

For England, it would feel like home/ Birmingham with mosquitoes I suppose.

Why don't they start the match at 3.10. That way the players at least know how their horse/s fared.
After all they do say it's the race that stops the nation.

How good was the footage earlier of the under 14Bs fielding session from yesterday?
