30 Batting Average checklist

sunilz

International Regular
While going through the record of Laxman, I noticed an interesting trend. He averaged atleast 30 against every country he played against and he averaged 30 in every country he played in. How many other players do it ?
Please restrict this exercise to batsmen who have debuted after 01 Jan 1970 and have atleast played atleast 50 tests.

Only those countries should be considered for 30 cutoff against which batsman has played atleast 2 tests or in that country .

My nomination
Laxman
Sachin
Greg Chappell
Kumar Sangakkara

So I thought the Fab 4 less KW would surely qualify.

Hilarious that all three are being ****blocked by Bangladesh (as well as Ireland for Root).

Smith actually averages 40+ against everyone everywhere other than BD.
Kohli qualifies because sample size must of be of atleast 2 tests before disqualifying.
Root and Smith bad luck because of Bangladesh ?
For Root Ireland shouldn't be considered because sample size was of 1 test .

ZK$

U19 Cricketer
Dravid , Steve Waugh, Ponting many ATG miss this checklist ?
I was actually surprised.
Yeah, it’s hard because of the 2 test requirement as well. Chanderpaul and Inzamam are blocked by just 2 tests in the UAE.
