Beamer

International Vice-Captain
The board has been finding numerous reasons before every series to not pick him. Fitness grounds, flight, foreign league etc etc.
Hety is not serious about playing for West Indies though. He was visibly fat after the pandemic and so failed the fitness test. He has also made himself unavailable due to the birth of his child but yet rushed back for the IPL on the Royals private jet.

I'm not sure CWI are to blame here tbh. Hety is not serious, he just wants to rake in the $$$.

Is it just the one team from each of the qualifying pools going through?

the scenes if West Indies don't make it out of this group

Backing Zimbabwe to qualify one way or another. They've been impressive last 12-18 months.

Yes. I have zero hope for our WI team. Just a bunch of headless chickens running around

Zimbabwe though is a more cohesive unit
They are like SL from the last WC

Honestly this west indies lineup looks pretty good on paper, even without hetymer
Brooks is really a total prank player in this format. Beyond that they have a lot of reasonably good individual players but their balance is kind of ridiculous. Just not sure where the substantive runs are going to come against good opposition from unless it's Brooks making 40 (45). Bowling is okay, but only okay.

Lewis, King, Mayers and Pooran should be able to bully Scotland though.

Chubb

International Regular
Ok looking at the mountain and down the harbour it should be dry or at least playable for the rest of the day. Munsey played some nice shots off the pacers.

Impact outside anyway, but does that really count as outside leg? Munsey changed his stance quite considerably.
