That's my expectation. So Bradman the only ATG if that's the criteria
Yeah but where in the top ten?Let's say he plays 120 odd tests. If he averages 60+ and still converts 100s at his current rate, for me he's #2 of all time. Anything less and he's in the top 10.
Very good question. We will have to wait and see I reckonYeah but where in the top ten?
He is already an ATGI will rate him as an ATG if he gets 10k+ runs at an average of 60.

Plays the guitarHe's a guy I can imagine playing for a long time too. Maybe I'm being harsh on him but I can't imagine he has a lot going on in his life other than cricket
Nah he couldn’t even get 7K runs. Pathetic. So Bradman the only ATG if that's the criteria
Ponting also played in an extremely batting friendly era, tbh. Part of what has made smith so special was his utter dominance coinciding with one of the most unfriendly 5 year batting period's post war between 2015 and 2020.Iirc Ponting averaged 58 or something after playing 100 tests. Smith is averaging 60 with 87 games. So, there isn’t much of a difference.
What I am saying is what he has accomplished isn’t unprecedented..
Smith too has played on some of the flattest wickets known to man. It’s only in last 5 years, conditions have become tougher.Ponting also played in an extremely batting friendly era, tbh.
