Asia cup 2022

Kohli's knock was alright. Rohit for sure was rattled by the pace of Naseem. Either way good wake up call for Indian team. Kela is not worth wasting a opening slot. He is not mentaly prepared for big games. I'd rather have a confident SKY opening & playing his risky shots in PP. Pant has to play we need another left hander to take on spinners here. Kohli can't hit vs half decent spin these days.

Just Seen a decent Kenya team get rolled over for 100 against Nepal, why are Nepal not in the asia cup guys.

Nepal loses to Kenya... Fair enough they aren't good enough for Asia Cup right now. Maybe BCCI should look to arrange some games with some mid or lower tier Ranji teams to provide then some exposure. Lot of untapped potential for cricket in Nepal

Shaheen & Waseem Jnr. were already out coz of injury. Naseem & Haris were struggling yesterday.

Now news are coming out that PCB is going to send Shaheen to England for rehabilitation. He was with squad during Netherlands tour (apparently where his injury aggravated) & then they took him to UAE for Asia Cup !!!

PCB's medical board is even worse than Quacks.

Looking forward to this game hopefully naseem continues his steady improvement he's shown since Australia series

Also hoping Haider Ali gets a game and does well I have him pegged as a good all formats player of the future.

Not concerned about the result as long as Naseem, Haider and couple of the young brigade show some results.

He opened in U-19WC. He opens innings for his region in QeA Trophy.

He is an opener. He is being wasted in MO.
imo, He should open alongside Babar in T20I & with Fakhar in ODIs. He has better FC stats than #always-underpressure Imam. Haider replacing Imam in SC Tests would be a huge positivity in this age of #bazball. England is also touring for 3 tests in December.

Whatever it takes!!!
Lol I was seeing Indians struggling against Shadab who outbowled Chahal yet again by some distance. I'd rather have Bishnoi playing over Chahal plus his fielding was below average.
Naseem is as Orthodox as they come. There was no left armer in Pak bowling too. Pakistan have lost only 1 t20 in UAE prior to this loss vs Aus in WC SF. So there's hardly any difference between two teams especially in UAE as far as T20 goes.
Yes strange post by HB this Pakistan attack is very orthodox there was no Shaeen who I would say you need getting used to as a tall left armer moving at pace is not something you encounter very often. Dahani, Naseem are your standard right arm pacers and Nawaz is also a common SLA that every Indian FC side would have in abundance. Shahdab is a leggie but hardly any mystery about him. The only one who is slightly unorthodox is Rauf but for a side that faces Bumrah in the nets day in day out should not find it difficult to pick him.
I wonder if you guys actually think every bowling action is the same in world cricket. And if you read my post, you would see I meant overall in the last 7 or 8 years, not just yesterday. As a matter of fact, I do think the new guy Dahani has a different action to many. But in the last however years, I do think Pak has had several bowlers who are slightly unorthodox in many ways in how they bowl which takes a bit of getting used to. It does not mean they were all Paul Adams or anything, it just takes more getting used to. And I agree Bumrah takes longer to get used to, too. But we have usually been batting first and collapsing, which was the point that triggered the thought in the first place.

Yeah that's why I felt it was strange to mention about unorthodox bowling actions based on yesterday game get your point for last 7-8 years someone like an Ajmal or even a Shaheen can be difficult facing first time . Naseem and Nawaz the main wicktakers yerdayday are very conventional bowlers if they bowl like this they will still have similar numbers no matter how many times India would have played them , Dahani I agree is slightly different but was hardly a factor with the ball for both sides maybe India could have scored an extra 5-7 runs had they faced him before but he bowled OK for his figures i thought and his presence was mainly canceled out by the presence of the left arm seamer from India who Pakistan played for the first time .
