Yes, too dependent on top 3 for batting. The others are way too inconsistent. Bowling is too weak too. Surprising that Taylor didn't bowl at all after the decent outing he had last match.

HK bowling first vs Uganda in the #Revenge match to determine 5th place. Quiet start but no early wickets. We've done well chasing in the last couple of matches, hopefully we keep them to 130 or thereabouts and chase it down

Oh Aftab Hussain playing today! Good to see him back in HK colours. Was struggling for form and rhythm in domestix, missed a lot of cricket due to injury and then covid. Seems to have started well, just 5 runs conceded in 1.2 overs in the powerplay

Naturally as I type this he gets slapped through cover for 4....

urgh 50 run opening partnership up with a dropped catch

We're looking sloppy in the field again. The run rate hasn't gotten out of control yet, but they could easily turn this into 140+

superb effort in the field. woke up after that dropped catch. still a bit sloppy, perhaps let Uganda get 20 runs more than we should have, but 103 is very chaseable.

We've gotten better as this tournament has progressed, which makes that defeat in game 1 so much more frustrating. Sigh. We beat PNG who end up ranked higher than us ffs.

Let's go out there and crush this chase boys.

****ing hell what's going on here. Great ball to get Nizakat but the rest of the batting had been utterly abysmal. All they had to do was bat out 20 overs and we had this. What about Uganda brings out the worst in our lineup

Bad enough losing once to this lot, now we're gonn lose twice and both times thanks to garbage batting

4/5 dismissals were utter garbage. They just had to bat 20 overs and they won this. Bowling's been decent but the batting has been utterly horrifc, just like it was in the first game. Urgh.

No revenge today, and we don't even get 5th place. Such an inconsistent tournament. Batting unit needs some composure.

basically had 1 good performance all tournament here. Beating Singapore isn't impressive since they're clearly corrupt, and we beat PNG when Babar went boom. Apart from that we've been garbage. Two losses to Uganda in such similar manner is awful. Overall we've played mediocre cricket and didn't bat or bowl consistently to our potential. Poor tournament. 6th is probably fitting, though I don't back this squad to beat Jersey if they had to play them with this form.

Zeeshan Ali 9 off 24 wtf man. How are these guys so clueless at hitting slow bowlers off a good length. Especially a guy who has played professional cricket in Pakistan. Feels like a mental block more than anything.
