Good win for England but this lineup still feels a batsmen short. Moeen hasn't made a 50 since 2017 and averages 17 in that time and he's been piss poor with the ball in that period. This is a massive concern, especially with the batdeep plunkett and woakes gave missing (TBF Willey is still useful). If you move Livingstone down to 7 then you have 4 genuine bowlers + Livo, stokes and root to make up the remaining 10 overs and you can fit an extra batsmen in.

I would make 3 changes for the final game.
Iyer for Kohli (won’t happen and I am a huge Virat fan, but he needs to be taken out of the firing line)

Agreed, but I feel Kishan at the top could make a difference he buys into this new style approach.
Dhawan has been brilliant over the years but he looks so bereft of confidence and is soaking up balls got away with it in game one as we had a low score to chase and Rohit was flying but yesterday it out additional pressure on rest of the top order

If we are going to manufacture a LO batsman out of Pant, I feel he has to open and should be given a licence to go. Ideally that is what should happen once Rahul is back as he seems to have settled into the ODI #4/5 role well. SKY can bat 5 and Hardik 6 and Jaddu 7. But if we insist on playing Shami and Bumrah as our seamers, we need at least one more bowler who can bat decently at 8.
Nice to see one of the English bowlers doing great. Actually 2 of them. Willey & Topley did really good. I don't have a big crush on Carse yet, nor Overton...

I hope Buttler can cope with the captaincy... Otherwise, Ali would be a good prospect for it wouldn't he ? Or Root ?

He is also best seam bowler after Kapil, Zaheer & Bumrah.
Why wouldn't you play shami and bumrah? Genuine question. You have limited us to 110 and 247 when we normally get 320+

3 #11s is fine to me if it’s a good enough step up in their primary skill from the next best option that can bat.
It’s the #8 that needs to be able to bat a bit. You’re 6 down quite often in ODIs. Prasidh is not good enough with bat or ball, Harshal/Chahar would be nice. Maybe Bhuvi.

Bhuvi at 8 is also high. #8 should be one of Thakur/Harshal/D Chahar/Axar/Ashwin. Bum and Chahal take 2 places. So the other place is between Bhuvi/Shami/all those rookie pacers.
