*Official* Bangladesh Tour of West Indies (& Guyana) 2022

As much I want to blame the pitch on this…Bangladesh’s bowling was top class. Our batsmen struggled on a sluggish wicket.

A couple of them gifted their wickets away. Different year and same nonsense (not rotating the strike)

A bit of TV-14 commentary from the crew over at Cricbuzz,

Shepherd to Shanto, out Tamim Run Out!! Absolute confusion and Bangladesh lose a massive wicket! Oh, poor Shanto! What have you done! Tamim was already quite pissed with the umpiring and this is only going to make him boil in the dressing room. A poor call really for the single, dabbed towards short third man and Shanto wanted the single. Was always going to be tight, and the initial stutter made it worse for Tamim who was well short. Brilliant direct hit from Phillip. Can say that the Bangladesh captain could have declined the run too, given that should have been his call. Anyways, West Indies aren't complaining. Tamim run out (Anderson Phillip) 33(25) [4s-4 6s-1]

It would have been fun to see both debutants, SLAs, opening the bowling in the same match.

Im sure that’s never happened before in ODI cricket
