Some would be overjoyed, to have a big chunky boi, so big and wonderful such as he.I can't imagine Inzy tasting very good

@TheJediBrah just in case you didn't know the context. What do you say? Aloo (potato) is universally liked in this world.
Gives new mean to the phrase going for an Indian, doesn't it?@TheJediBrah just in case you didn't know the context.
Inzamam stood up for Azharuddin – Waqar recalls the ‘aloo’ incident from Sahara Cup
Remember the sight of Inzamam-ul-Haq lashing out at an abusive fan during the 1997 Sahara Cup? It turns out that the former Pakistani batsman was more infuriated on something else than being called “aloo” (potato). Recalling that incident, former Pakistan captain Waqar Younis has revealed that...crictoday.com
Very much proves the opening post of this thread which says they are quite Underrated here vis-a-vis DoG's rankings.Only 2 of the 4 were ranked in the Top 50 Batsmen poll conducted recently.
Chanderpaul came in at 43 with Inzy close behind on 45.
Thats why Jayawardene is best, clearly.Jayawardene is best, then Chanderpaul and Inzy or Yousuf is no good, they both home track bully!
This is not true right? That would make him Dravid level player at least if not betterMahela has the reputation of hometrack bully, but looking at his record it's not that bad really. He fared poorly in Pakistan and Australia averaging around 32 in each from 29 and 16 tests. But in South Africa, England and India he averaged 57, 58 and 67 from 13, 19 and 10 tests.
63 in India, 36 in England, 28 in SA.This is not true right? That would make him Dravid level player at least if not better
Yeah those are just his averages vs those countries. His averages in those countries are actually 27.87, 35.81, and 62.80 from 8, 12 and 6 tests respectively. His high average in India comes from a 275 in one innings, and 353 runs across the other 9.This is not true right? That would make him Dravid level player at least if not better
Do you rate Inzi over Younis Khan?1990s
Inzy 3700 runs @ 43 avg
Chanders 2200 @ 41
Mahela 900@ 44
MoYo 900@ 34
Next 6 years 2000-2005
Inzy 4300 @ 62
Mahela 4300 @ 49
MoYo 3700 @ 54
Chanders 3900 @ 50
Inzy decline started after 2005 and retired in 2007.
Yeah I thought those were crazy averages to havehe averaged 57, 48 and 67 against them not in those countries.
Jayawardene averaged 28 in SA, 36 in Eng and 63 in India.
Forgetting how elegant Mahela was IMO. One of the great touch players.Quite frankly, this business about Inzi > Chanders or vice-versa is neither here nor there. They're all in the same tier.
What matters more is what they will be remembered for.
Inzi - for match winning centuries. Plus comedic performances
Chanders - for his batting style, selfishness, 1 fast century vs Aus
MoYo - Golden year 2006, elegance
Jaya - huge 374, captaincy
That was the World Cup that England wonForgetting how elegant Mahela was IMO. One of the great touch players.
Can remember him dominating one t20 WC by caressing the ball to all parts, barely played a shot in anger.
Not the best of the four, but the best to watch without doubt.
