Marsh bowling is a positive sign. Side is so much stronger when he's fit. Stoinos/Green/our other all-rounders aren't bad, but marsh is just different gravy in LOI.

Kuhneman surely bowling himself out of any chance of playing in the next WC in India. Woeful. Couldn’t get better conditions for his type of dross and he’s been too slow and wide. Papers marked

I legit would have been ok with Todd Murphy being kicked

i mean, he's a sydney sixer, but not just because of that

Wellage at 7 with hasaranga and karunarantna also to come is an interesting call. Good to see the selectors showing faith in him after his u-19 WC efforts though.

Slightly off topic, but why is green just unable to buy odi wickets. Got 2-fer in his only t20I and can take wickets in test's, but he just doesn't seem to be able to do anything in ODI's. I can't even recall a catch being dropped off him and he usually get's 4-5 overs an ODI. His normal List-A bowling stat's are pretty poor aswell but that's more a fact of WA's poor fielding then a lack of effort from him.

Comms saying it’s delicately poised but I think 250 will be miles too many here for this Aus line up unless Warner gets 80 plus up front

Took him a whole home summer to take a single test wicket too iirc

Kuhnemann will have to think fast and slow to do the job here. Unconscious incompetence will not be an option. Only conscious competence will do, when things get hard.

If the pitch plays like last time Sri-lanka are gonna need 280+. Dew was a massive factor and we have genuine batsmen down to 8 + cummins at 9.

TBF he had just come back from injury and was very limited on the amount of overs he could bowl that summer. Half the time paine would bring marnus on before him.
