Doesn’t matter how good the drainage is! You can’t get on the park if it’s raining! Based on this forecast the draw is favourite imo. Agreed NZ would have struggled to get anything out of this match otherwiseThe weekend forecast is for showers, not heavy rain, and the Lord’s drainage is excellent. NZ will have a bit of work to do to come away with a draw.

7-1 I’ll have some of that thanks for the tip off!The draw is currently at 7/1, so they're expecting to get some play over the last 3 days.
Probably worth a poke on the draw at 7/1, hope for rain or a 2nd innings NZ revival.
Don't get too excited until you see NZ bat 2nd time around!7-1 I’ll have some of that thanks for the tip off!
Ah no you’ve misinterpreted the forecast. They break it down hour by hour and the chance of rain is generally 20-30%. Usually this means they expect a shower or two but aren’t sure when exactly it’ll arrive. Those days used to wash out regularly but with modern drainage we usually see 40 overs or so, but in very difficult batting conditions.Doesn’t matter how good the drainage is! I thought it was an established technique, bit surprised to see the commentator criticise it in such unequivocal terms.Someone needs to have a word about that guard.
