In the 50 over double-header: TMO makes 279-8, AX-W makes 225-9. Looking like SZA may get the double win to level both series.
Good batting pitch for both. I would hope that the TMOs manage to defend 280 but could be dicey... and TNT batting is not very strong, I don't actually expect them to make the 226. Think both games could end up tight.

No early wickets have put the TMOs under pressure with the strong middle order from AXI still to come, manage to keep runs down a bit but not by much.... need some luck. TNT opening pair doing unusually well as they lose their opening wicket?

Yeah, good starts to both chases. TBH not sure I agree with the above, this lot needs to prove themselves. Branning's done so already ofc, but everyone else is a bit of an unknown in their positions. But with Chambers at 9 (!), it's definitely strong on paper.

My big frustration is once again TMOs high BQ does not seem to translate into wickets... and long term never keeps the runs down.

Pretty sure I`m gonna loose both these games... the TNTs batting is very week particularly lower order and are likely to just collapse. And with no early wickets AXI will doddle to the 280 total maybe 5 down in the end but all the damage is already done.

Nice unexpected win for TNT... very pleased with the acquisition of Mabika think he will be great for many seasons to come.

Very disappointed in TMOs loss today... mainly because the opening pair took no wickets which just led to an easy win for AXI... well done to @ataraxia and a great innings from Dee.

Fabulous from Shawn, he really is an effective run-scorer. Thanks for the games Stephen, they were quality.

AXI with a couple of losses in T20s, not a good sign heading into CWC5.

ZCC beat us! Good knocks from Furqan, Shkorer; then Yiu, Chester took 9 wickets between them. Chambers did well opening, but didn't play the role he expected to; 18-4 happened. Well played.

The match vs Winton CC was closer, but they levelled the HTH record with a wicket to spare. Excellent hitting from Zietsman and Tweddle, as Ollie Smit's late surge of 5-10 was in vain.

Nice

FHK won the two 2nd XI 50 over games this weekend against ZCC as well - both home and away.

When do CWC5 fixtures get generated @JOJOXI ? I checked but can't see an option to generate them. Is there any button at your end that needs to be clicked? If not it may be worth dropping a message to the Devs and seeing if they need to do smth at their end.

Nothing on my end as of a couple hours ago - it might be pretty late notice as there was an option to generate fixtures for one of the leagues that was set as 1 game per week but only noticed that about a day maybe even slightly less prior to the opening fixtures.

Do I send a PM via the forum or is there a mechanism to do it in game?

Well, AX-W's management forgot to submit orders for today's Dev bot bash. There was a silver lining however:

(This is a guy with, funnily, 0 stamina, and a 8/0/9 batting distribution.)

I forgot about the double Dev fixture vs @StephenZA this morning.

TMO won the dead rubber, but may I attract attention away from AXI's fairly dismal performance (first time cracking 50K in Dev though)?

In the affiliate's series decider, Robin Warwick (63 off 46) helped us to a good total that we were confident defending. Sure enough, TNT quickly collapsed to 108-7 chasing 228-7. They won. A couple of 17 skill bats scored 40+, then this guy scored 10 (9). Yes, playing one of all of the five shot types in his short stay. Wow.

AXI beat TMO 2–1
TNT beat AXW 2–1

Thanks for the series Stephen, and a shout out to Anthony Davidson!
