FFS. Had a feeling RR would be the team that drops a game to Mumbai. Not a great batting effort, and the dew reared it's ugly head again. Daryl Mitchell having a shocker didn't help.

Dhoni's captaincy alone warrants him a place in any IPL team IMO:cool:. Most IPL teams have a tough time finding a good captain, and Dhoni is by far the best IPL captain India has had(only Gambhir is in the same league in the IPL IMO). Dhoni's sharp captaincy, field placements and ability to guide bowlers in crunch situations is something that really helps CSK. May be giving Jadeja the captaincy must be an attempt by the CSK management to see how the team does without MSD, but it backfired.

I feel Dhoni can play till 45 by simply relying on his captaincy and keeping skills if he wants to.

Thought marsh's horror luck with umpiring calls was just a bbl umpiring issue but maybe umpires just really don't like him...

Great knock's from gaikwad and conway. Crazy that conway has been warming the bench this whole season after only getting 1 game at the start, just made smashing the best bowling attack of the tournament so far all over the ground look like a piece of piss.

TBF, the 4 foreigner rule does create situations like that. The uptake in quality from an overseas seamer or allrounder or finisher is sometimes a lot more than the uptake in quality from an overseas opener.

Yeah true. Feel like if Pretorius has a similar showing to last game CSK drop him for bravo and keep Conway. A cornerstone of their success last year was that far/gaikwas combo and Conway is about as good a faf replacement as your gonna get.

I dreamt that Conway would play for CSK and make a good knock! Alas, he did not bowl two overs for 1-20, so my dream was not all fulfilled.

Why do IPL sides keep spending money on Aaron ****ing Finch?

A disaster with every franchise he has been with.

Could have Signed Paul Stirling for a bowl of rice who would have offered more than this clown.
