The ATG Teams General arguing/discussing thread

I’m sure Williamson will fix his record in most places. He’s too good not to. He’s been ridicously good at home in recent years.

Im more concerned about Kohli who looks like he’s about to pull an Amla.
To do that, he'd need to actually play. Hiding from having his stats wrecked, unlike Kohli who is facing up to it (and should be shot for doing it).

When making a list of modern players who impacted the game my thoughts turned to how weird it felt to putting Warnies name down and knowing he’s a deceased player. With that in mind.

in your deceased eleven dude you have grace in there.do you think the better option would be hammond? Because as well as being a stellar bat he was a more than useful bowler and he could field a bit!a very useful cricketer.

Hammond was a great great player.Sometimes makes my World xi.Probably will replace him at 6 instead of Nourse.
Grace is the champion so he is always welcome in my side.

This should be a great battle.I am expecting a really low scoring series if the match is with everyone at their peak.Regardless of the pich imo.I don’t see anyone except bradman averaging over 50.
Over a 5 match series I think Southern Hemisphere xi will win.

Idk just thinking about that last statement, thinking about the best recent batsman and bowler I can remember over a single series, I still think say 2019 Ashes Smith would still score a couple of tons in a series against 2013-14 Ashes Johnson. Then again, thats all part of the fun of these hypotheticals isn’t it?
