No No, he got the shots...one of the few Windies batsmen who can sweep the ball, he's got the reverse, the extravagant cover drive, the pull/hook...but he needs more training in batting psychology IMO

Badoni is so so good, he doesn't have crazy scores or the body of work as of now but from eye test he seems to have a much higher ceiling than someone like Hooda. Seems to be comfortable against all types of bowling as well as being solid under pressure. This might be stupid early but fast track him in the national team imo, we need someone like him in lower order.

Neither a really big loss tbh, lol. Chance for some talented youngsters to get a game. Sai Sudharsan will bat 3, is yet another kid with no real domestix pedigree - he made his debut in the recent SMAT for the championship winning Tamil Nadu team, played in the VH too, but didn't play Ranji and is only 20. Some decent runs in the SMAT, let's see how he goes.

Darshan Nalkande has more pedigree - former India U19 and great domestic T20 numbers. Can bat a bit too apparently. Was formerly at Kings Punjab as well. FC bowling average of 201 tho lol.

Good news for Punjab is Bairstow playing his first game of the season. They'll need him to fire to put up a dew-proof score.
