A keeper-batter by the name of J. Atkinson is on the TM

Low key tempted to sign him up for FHK as he is a living HK cricket legend, but the potentials are a bit too low and his name is Jordan not Jamie.

I`m thinking of going for him... I have no spare keeper at the moment, which is areal concern for me if Mthombeni gets injured.

GG's skipper, Ernst Levy scored his maiden 50-over century today batting at number 4...a position which he is not accustomed to (he's opened the batting with Bram Human for most of his career).

This century followed the 107* (145) he made against Mooo in his most recent match

Wow, EurAfrica's so much stronger than Asia, especially looking at the respective ExPs. I'm top 3 in all three of my div 2s.

Won Friday's SOD! Great match, excellent knock by Shawn Dee (95* off 85) after being demoted down the order to six.

Penultimate round of CWC4.2 coming up in a matter of minutes.

Here's to a good game!

Was just about to comment that lol. The ousting of Jasper Davey has meant that I only really have one opening bowler, especially when Frost and Kotze don't play.

Winton has been successful bowling a few economical overs in the powerplay, but I realise that opening with a part-time finger-spinner with 92 clouds about is incredibly weird!

Unfortunately with the hour change, I'll miss following much of the games live but big game to potentially decide title between Moo and Ataraxia. Win for Ataraxia (presuming a bonus pt win for Ashgrove Astronauts) and with their NRR advantage they'd just need a bonus point defeat unless we see a remarkable NRR swing in the final game where Ashgrove Astronauts face the bot. Bonus point win and a defeat of any kind would be fine as long as Ataraxia's NRR remained above Ashgrove Astronauts.

A win for Moo - especially of the bonus point variety and it gets interesting. In such a scenario Ataraxia's current NRR would take a hit and maybe give Ashgrove Astronauts a sniff in terms of NRR. Also with a bonus point win for Ashgrove Astronauts almost a certainty v the bots would mean that Ataraxia would need to get a bonus point win v Honest Hunks if they get 0 points today.

If my Charminster CC could cause a surprise and get a losing bonus point would be very happy. Would really keep things tense if Ataraxia lost with Moo getting full points and Ashgrove Astronauts got 4 not 5 points, keeping Moo right in the mix. In such a scenario you'd have

Ataraxia 51pts
Moo 50pts
Ashgrove 50pts

In terms of NRR, Ataraxia (1.86) then Moo (1.26) then Ashgrove Astronauts (1.09) from best to worst but the bot still to play for Ashgrove Astronauts

Yeah, so two teams go through to the knockout stage. Moooo need to win this game.

Doesn't look likely though, because Winton's five powerplay overs came off. 2-11 his figures!

Forgot about the knockout stages but that adds even more intrigue. But yeah looking like Moo will need an explosive second half of their innings to try and post a match-winning total

Moooo end up 224-5 after 50, which is a pretty decent, if not counter-attacking recovery. Winton ends up with figures of 3-25 (10)!

The Hunks bundled the bot out for 110.

Winton CC posted a massive 319-7 against AX-W. It is much much more than enough, unless du Preez gets going.

Ashgrove hit 256-7 v Charminster.

The top two look pretty sewn up; no surprises in the 2nd innings other than an excellent Price-O'Callaghan partnership for AX-W, and Charminster going particularly badly against a stupidly good attack.

TMOs vs Dynamo has started in a steady manner. TMOs have created a platform against an excellent attack but the last 15 overs will be crucial to see if the middle and lower order can get to a defendable total. Will be tough.

Got passed the 250... probably needed 270+, but runs on the board from TMOs. Now to see if Burger can do something special. Need some early wickets to make this competitive.
