*Official* England in West Indies 2022

Aritro

International Regular
Delayed gratification has been a theme of Brooks' career. As a teenager, he was part of two Under-19 World Cup squads, even captaining West Indies in the 2008 edition. But he found it hard to take to first-class cricket. Brooks wanted to be an electrical engineer if not a cricketer, a switch that might have played on his mind when he was dropped by Barbados in 2012, having made only one fifty after his debut in 2007.
Wow, five years without a first class 50. :-O

Beamer

International Vice-Captain
Da Silva is a gem. He's a Ridley Jacobs without Lara, Chanderpaul or Sarwan
I love how he's able to put his shots away and just bat. For a young guy who can bat aggressively, it's impressive.

I'd love to see him best higher up the order.

In one way the Windies bat so deep. De Silva at 8 and Alzarri 9…before considering how poor some of the opening and middle options are

Crap captaincy. Instead of spreading the field to give a single do something radical like trying to get him out. Absolute dogs breath hour from England.
