Haha Bangladesh should regret that for years to come. Batted really poorly.

Awesome effort by West Indies. Such a fun team.

Thailand would have chased this down with 8 wickets and 25 overs to spare

Haha yeah made no sense but on the other hand there was like 4 balls left and an edged boundary or something could have won it.
yeah the not taking the single with 14 off 18 or whatever it was when i sent the message, i'd get if she was the 4 or something however when you're the 9 you just can't refuse the runs tbh, else you get in the scenario that ultimately eventuated which put all the pressure on the eleven in four balls, after not having faced for twenty minutes

This format of 8 teams competing for 4 spots is gun. There is no certainty as to who will be those teams yet apart from Aus.

There is a small chance that either of WI or SA can still get knocked out from here.

India have to beat Bang and RSA to have a good shout for the next round.

The team that loses the NZ and Eng game is certain to go out. And the team that wins this game must ensure they win rest of their games with a decent NRR.

Boy this edition is more exciting than most of the men's WCs I've watched.

Best World Cup so far imo

Yeah, it has been outstanding so far. Just hope the incoming rain over the next few days doesn't ruin everything.

Rain or showers spreading over the northern North Island and northwestern South Island. Partly cloudy elsewhere.

Monday
Rain or showers from North Otago northwards, but mostly dry for Westland. Partly cloudy elsewhere.

Tuesday
Rain or showers from North Otago northwards. Partly cloudy elsewhere.

Terrible luck for Bangladesh. Should really have won this one after the way their bowlers performed.

Mathews is carrying the Windies, especially with the bat. The others sort of chip in here and there but there's nothing substantial.

A Bangladesh win would have thrown the cat amongst the pigeons for three or four teams ( I'm sure NZ & England were cheering for them)
Has been great stuff this WC, some brilliant cricket, some poor, but overall, most entertaining.

Looks like it's fine weather in Auckland at the moment for today's game (with the possibility of a few showers around later in the afternoon). Desperately hoping it holds into tomorrow too.
