Ravi Bopara

International Coach
was going to again direct him to the "let's remember some guys" thread but i reckon bopara is beyond guy status

i believe this may not be the first thread entitled Ravi Bopara he's created either, and now i realise i'm doing the sitcom thing where you talk about someone in the third person and everyone acts as if they can't hear it even though the person's a metre from the convo

Wasn't he ball tampering and possibly match fixing in the BPL recently?

Has played in the HKT20 Blitz so I'm a fan

I saw him getting throwdowns in the Old Trafford nets before a county game. They were focussing on short stuff; bouncers and hookshots. "Don't be afraid to really bang them in" he kept saying to the guy doing the sidearm.

And then I thought it might be an idea to start recording it for a Facebook drop and he saw me and went, "Boss!" and vigorously shook his head. So I turned it off and he said, "Sorry", and looked genuinely apologetic.

And that's my story about Ravi Bopara.

This doesn't surprise me actually, kinda fits with how on all the cricket DVDs I've got with him in, you never see him scoring any runs

It was very gracious of him to leave himself out of that.

And since Ravi picked him in this team Kohli can't score 100s and his average has dropped into the 40s. The curse of Bopara.
