What garbage comments by Rambo Raja so the only alternative to this farcical pitch is a WACA 2.0? How about a traditional Pakistani pitch that has low bounce skids and aids spin and reverse swing I am sure no one will complain about that have these guys lost their marbles.

Yeah I really feel that Hazlewood is just not suited to these sorts of pitches at all. No problems with him being the one to go if they do feel the pitch is going to turn.

I've always been a fan of not confirming your side until you examine the pitch on the day. Why the rush anyway?
You know if they get there tomorrow and it’s actually Old Trafford in May they aren’t committed to this side, right?

Yeah, so why bother? This very recent tradition of announcing the side what may well be year ahead time is silly.

Steve Waugh landed at Heathrow in 2001 and immediately told the press the XI for the first test about six weeks later

Whatever it takes!!!

Yeah, but its one thing to know what your first XI is for the first game going into a series, and quite another to actually pick your XIs for 5 tests like months in advance, including which players go out and come in each test when you have no idea of their form.

How about just prepare the wickets how they would naturally come out without trying to give your team an advantage? Is that such a weird mentality?
Yeah, exactly. The advantage is in being the home team and knowing the conditions, not manufacturing the decks to be whatever you want them to be. The only variation should be due to weather conditions.
