Abbas is another who's become a trundler.

So much potential
I recall Azhar Ali saying in an interview that PCB's doctors have no ****ing idea about what they're doing. Very likely that Abbas's injury was not rehabilitated properly and he's ****ed for life.

Fair, I think comfortably may not be right word in the sense that there's not some massive gulf between them, but more in the sense that it's a no brainer like Tendulkar > Ponting or something.
Ponting >>>Tendulkar

Man's a quality cricketer, pant makes headlines more, cause ya know, man just hits one handed sixes for fun and reverse sweeps one of the best fast bowlers in the world in a test to bring up a 100, but Rizwan has him beat as the best batsmen-keeper in the world cross formats currently.

On another note, drop Carey. Man had an absolute pancake with free reign to do whatever he wanted and did nothing, and his keeping has been average at best. Inglis has shown he's ready for int cricket, give him Pak and the sri Lanka tour.
Rizwan>>>>>>>Daylight>>>>>>Pant. Pant isn't fit to lace Rizwan's boots.

Rizwan is the best WK-bat in the world currently, he's an absolute jet. Look at his consistency. Has one single figure score in his last 20 Test innings, dominated the PSL in the same way, he's a superstar. One of the few who gets the balance between long and short forms right technique-wise.

Let's be honest, more than anything it's probably due to what country they play for

Mentioned it before but I believe that some posters are being way too harsh on Naseem

It’s a road, he’s hurried up most batsmen and containment is not his job anyway

If the pitch had anything in it at all, he could easily have 4 or more wickets as he produced a number of very healthy edges

rizwan's also a better keeper than pant imo which is something keeper-bat discussions rarely take into account

So many quality keeper-bats in Asia at the moment:

Rizwan
Sarfaraz?
Pant
Saha
Das
Mushy Rahim
Dickwella
Sarfaraz is not what I'd call quality.

Chandimal and Kusal Mendis too I guess, though obviously the former's performances have fallen off a cliff.
