I seem to remember a tie like this that was shown wrong but ended up correct earlier

Not too fussed about my loss as I had no right to get as close as I did. I was 124-7 chasing 232-8 and #batdeep almost pulled us across the line. Liam Kotze's 54 (44) from #9 almost pulled us over the line; it's good to see him perform with the bat. Highest scores by batting position for AXI (as far as I can ascertain):

Cheers Magz. Yea the R3 fixtures are up and we're through to the next round Morganshire away from home, potential banana peel game but we can definitely win it.

FHK unfortunately not enough runs on the board, dumped out of the cup in R2. Winton CC through to R3 after a bot bash, and have drawn the World #21 ranked team, Idle Wanderers, who play their cricket in Oceania SOD Div 1. GG.

The deliberations over Zack and Hashim's future will continue now that ZCC have another Cup game coming up. It's likely we'll still transfer list them, but maybe we'll keep them around for another couple of weeks. The bigger news coming out of ZCC now is that the 20k seat Dom Dom Memorial CG stadium has been reduced to just 14k, in a bid to reduce weekly costs. I was under the impression that destroying seats would cost us quite a bit of cash, but we actually earned $160,000 from the process! Had I known this I would have destroyed those seats a lot sooner lol.

AX-W get 204-8 against a bot, including three career best scores (four counting Fahey's 3). For AX-W I'm not even trying to win my Dev; it's all in on IGT.



For AXI I also do IGT optimisation in Dev mainly, especially with being in fully human leagues for both senior formats. But I actually try with the bat.

A 3-run loss for FHK U21s yesterday, and then shot out for 61 against Winton CC today. It's going to be one of those seasons huh.

ZCC going strong, backing up their Cup win with a comfortable one in the Dev and then beating GG CC by 8 wickets in a Friendly T20.

Yea the AXI challenge disappeared

Moooo smashing our full-strength attack for 187 on their home tracks. 3 spinners, but 7.1 bowling quality. Could be on for a 3rd consecutive loss to Moooo here, already 2 down in the powerplay. Yikes.

Crazy T20 between the ZCC 2nd XI and AXW. Harry Hadden's late cameo nearly stole us the game, only for 16 year old captain/allrounder Winthrop to play and miss at consecutive balls. A rematch will be scheduled soon!

Moooo's impressive run against FHK continues - thumping win in the T20 despite a 10K+ ratings disadvantage. Something not going right with the side, I'm tempted to believe Ivan Lam's 4 form + Influential train is bringing the side down a bit.

Think you can write off our game as just a very weird game - I know we beat you recently when you played a much changed side and we out-rated you but this time it just felt almost buggy. Undoubtedly still a much-changed squad this time from you although out-rating us this time but this game almost feels a bit of a bug due to the nature of the win. Close to my strongest batting lineup and we get shot out for 171. A bowling lineup with a part-timer in Tweddle, Allisson with 2-0-0 bowling attributes (an oversight he was bowling - not sure I set orders - maybe that says something about my tactics!) and 3 players very much in development still leaving Hannan Jaffer as only first-choice bowler. And its the bowling that wins us the game??

Collapses happen. Wouldn't call it a buggy, just some rotten luck haha. I think it's more exaggerated when I mess around with having 'proper' players mixed in with developing ones. One wicket brings two more often than not, due to low experience and higher pressure on the main bats to deliver.

Excellent win. lol at the worst bat in the side, Ramsbottom, getting 4 (2) when promoted as a pinch-hitter. Given it made O'Callaghan and du Preez consolidate at under a run a ball, it might not be repeated. John Ward continues his run as a surprisingly good T20 bat with 37 (20). Evison bowling crap at the death to seal the game was also lol-worthy.

Drop Lam, play Li I think.
