Ole wasn't a great manager, but its a simple fact that Utd have got worse since they hired Rangnick.

Their is always going to have be a conversation regarding Rashford soon, blah blah young etc, but he is very inconsistent and I really don't think he will ever be the elite player that his supporters think. It won't happen, but selling him when you can fetch a decent fee wouldn't be the worst idea .

Umm, have they, is that statistically correct? Meh think Rashford is one of the least of their problems myself particularly as he set up your goal tonight, but hey happy for that vile club to tear themselves apart. Get rid of the decent young bloke and keep the aged egotist accused-rapist, pretty much keeps with my belief of how the club really is.

Shocking take, we were definitely worse under Solskjaer. Our last game was a 4-1 loss to Watford ffs.
United would have won today's game with Ole in charge I suspect.

Line up wise , the gruesome threesome Maguire, Ronaldo and Rashford are getting way to many chances despite all three dropping 4/10 regularly.

Maybe Ralf is slightly less out of his depth than Ole, but from what we have seen he as a manager doesn't offer much more whatsoever and he has a nice enough run of fixtures in the last few weeks.

At least Zaha has the worst penalty of the season award sown up.
Yeah, that's another couple of points that we shouldn't have dropped. It's been a funny old season so far. We're definitely playing better football under Vieira, and we've acquired some better players too, so there's progress. Relegation shouldn't be a concern, but a run of bad form and/or key injuries could still see us in trouble. Pothas' view will be interesting if he's at the match today. iirc Brentford had the better of a 0-0 at our place very early in the season, but I think we've improved since then.

EDIT
Sounds like Ayew has been having finishing lessons from Benteke.

Today was frustrating but we had more than enough chances to win. I’m not saying we’re much good now, but by the end under Ole we were regularly getting completely outplayed by teams at Southampton’s level. I think his last two months was the worst we’ve been in my lifetime.

I know this was before you were born, but any excuse to dig it out.

I was there actually. iirc Frank O'Farrell was sacked soon after this; it was obvious even to my young self that Man Utd were an absolute shambles. Others can decide whether they were worse than the last couple of months under OGS. The fact that Palace ended the season being relegated says something about how bad MU were at the time.

Sell him to who exactly?

Pogba is just one of the weirdest players
He's been our best player since coming back, albeit that's only 3 games and there's not a lot of competition.

Not getting him sold at any point in the last three years is such a comical piece of mismanagement.

He kind of reminds me of Kevin Pietersen these days

Not nearly as much of a dickhead obviously (not that I am aware anyway), but a player with immense natural talent who is hated (usually irrationally) by some people no matter what he does, and one whom will probably end his career with huge question marks hanging over considerable sections of it, despite on paper his record looking pretty good

Another good 3 points for Newcastle today. Just back from the match, and we fought hard to grind out a 1-0 win. Dan Burn had an immense game at the back, and Joelinton and Shelvey put in a shift in the middle of the pitch. We managed to keep Coutinho quiet all game. Only downside is Trippier went off injured. I heard from my mate afterwards who is a groundsman advising he has went to hospital for a precautionary x-ray with suspected broken foot.
