I believe I can pick from the South Africa/Sri Lanka pool, providing they've played >10 and <90 Tests.
There are two excellent #5s available but I already have 3 players from SA so I'll go with Thilan Samaraweera.
1. Graeme Smith (c) /
2. Roy Fredericks /
3. George Headley /
4. Denis Compton /o
5. Thilan Samaraweera /
6. Mushfiqur Rahim (w/k) /
7. Wasim Raja /o
8. Andrew Flintoff /o
9. Hugh Tayfield o
10. Dennis Lillee o
11. Allan Donald o
12th. ? Not sure my final selection will get a berth ahead of any of this XI
Are we picking a coach, a 12th player (can't say 12th man I guess in case it is a woman), an alternative selection so we can bracket 2 of them to cover conditions etc., or another player and make one of current XI the 12th?

The 12th round is just a chance to strengthen your teams further in case you had too many poor rolls in the first eleven rounds. I wasn’t sure how the luck factor would play out.

My side currently has 3 quicks and 2 spinners so I'm looking to give my team more flexibility by adding an all-rounder/medium pacer who could replace Raja if the wicket favoured a 4/1 pace/spin attack. Tossed up between Jeremy Coney and Jacob Oram and went for the latter.

Happy with that line-up. Solid openers, strong middle order, bats deep, menacing pace attack and an offie and a leggie providing spin variation.
