I dislike fixtures like today. Having pushed Chelsea to the limits on Saturday we'll today probably lose at Crewe who have barely won a game in our own division this season.

Northampton could be back tbf. Between us, them, Mansfield and Newport I’d say. Possibly unfairly writing Sutton off there.

Just looked at the table and can’t believe I left Exeter out of that equation….
We need to start playing better, it's all very well saying last minute wins are what get you promotion, but occasionally you need to look fluid going forwards, which we're not. Jay seems to have run out of steam, and Nombe is coming back from injury.

Great defenders, but we keep playing 5 of them, just don't know if that's viable particularly, and if we play four at the back we haven't really got a natural left-back.

Anyway, Diabate clearly the next to go for big money, between him and Key, both Collins and Jay worth something, but not in a big way. When we sale them all in the pre-season we can truly be the richest team in this division, yay.

Rooney in trouble for saying that in 2006 he changed his studs at half time in a match against Chelsea so he could injure someone.
Pretty stupid thing to do, and to admit to years later. But as it was John Terry he injured he might get away with it.

speaking of Terry, it always amazes me how Chelsea fans (even the right-thinking otherwise reasonable ones - of which there are barely any, I know) bend over backwards to assert not only that was John Terry a great player (fair enough) but that he was a great bloke/person (which is objectively and self-evidently false)

I know football fandom is very tribal and all that, and as above fair enough if someone is prepared to John Terry the player to the hilt, but I really do not understand how even the most hardened fan can say anything about Terry the person other than to call him an utter shitbag

Yeah if you asked me if John Terry was a great player and a great person I'd have to agree he was a great player.

Jacob Ramsey. Do you think he'd be getting more hype if there wasn't a real glut of midfielders in English Football? I think 10 years ago he'd alreday be hyped like Wilshere was, which is probably a good thing for him, but in the end will he find International chances limited?
