Doesn't he mostly play Saka's position? He'd be a worthwhile reclamation project for someone but I don't think he's a great fit for Arsenal.
yeah true, but sadly for Arsenal Saka is Arsenal's best player in like... 3 to 4 different positions anyway, so probably wouldn't be a huge deal, not in the short term anyway

Lol, Barca can't afford Auba's salary so he's coming back to London. Problem solved ..
apparently he went there of his own volition without Arsenal's permission or the teams even provisionally agreeing a deal lmao

what a circus

Gone permanently on a free transfer apparently

Bit of a result for arsenal really

Just a shame they've not bloody signed anyone lol

Doesn't exactly speak wonders for Edu though

Comes in and gives big contracts to William and Auba, both cancelled within a year or so

Slaps of in FM when you offer a player mutual termination after weeks of trying to get them to **** off.

Another transfer window, another two random signings for Spurs that don't really meet the gaping holes in the first XI. Well, at least as far as I can tell.

The Old Firm tomorrow should be worth a watch. Not that I've always been paying attention but I can't remember that game ever being an evening kick off before.

Last time was 2008 when funnily enough Celtic got the New Year game moved because it didn't suit them to play it at the time.

In fact I think the last 3 league games at Parkhead played midweek have been as the result of postponements; 1999/00 we played there in March 2000 because the game initially would have fallen on the weekend between European games (back when the CL had 2 group stages) - Celtic had played on the Thursday night and we were scheduled to play in the Champions League on the Tuesday following.

1997/98 when the first league game was due to be played the weekend Diana died.

Last time I can remember playing under lights at Ibrox was the 2-2 draw at New Year in 1999. Other than the New Year games though, I can't think of many league games in the last 40 years that have been midweek.

I don't think Celtic or Rangers are that great, but it'll be good if there's an actual title race between the two.

Steve Bruce heading to West Brom.
