Meanwhile Hangargekar was consistently bowling 90 mph in last U19 game. Seems like we will get our #8 soon & let go of Trundlers who can bat a bit. This guy tonks huuge sixes lower down the order.
Indian line up is worse.. Boovi Kumar trundling & bowling 125 kph pies in 2022. Kela Rahul captaining. Dravid picking up seniors. Everything is falling apart for India. 90's are back with a bangTo lose with wickets in hand is pretty disgraceful against a SA bowling unit without Rabada and Nortje and an average batting line up at best.
Na, the indian team is much better but are playing less than the sum of their part. Likely due to backroom fighting.Indian line up is worse.. Boovi Kumar trundling & bowling 125 kph pies in 2022. I've never seen a previously scheduled cricket game being called off because it was too hot tbh. Probably one of the big things the game has going for it long term...Is there an official rule regarding weather and being way to hot, just asking because of this predicted for tomorrow at Paarl:
[WEATHER WARNING] Potentially life-threatening heatwave coming this weekend
Spare a thought for Wellington, where temperatures will soar to 46 degrees Celsius on Saturday.ewn.co.za
Our ODI stats in bowling are worse than minnows... What are you talking about?Na, the indian team is much better but are playing less than the sum of their part. Likely due to backroom fighting.
Yes, from long term POV they can invest in the younger leggies. But don't forget, spinners can go on till 37-38 easily, a couple of years more if they are careful with their fitness.Isn't age a criteria as well. Kuldeep is 4-5 years younger & we can hope that he will turn this around. Chahal ever since his mediocre debut vs Zim in 2015 is still same or worst leggie since 2019. He is now 30+. Guys like Bishnoi Markande R Chahar are in 20-22 years of age. I think selectors are bound to back younger talent soon. His fielding batting everything isn't international standard.
In Tests maybe but good luck carrying a 38 year old in the field. They'd be targeted all day.Yes, from long term POV they can invest in the younger leggies. But don't forget, spinners can go on till 37-38 easily, a couple of years more if they are careful with their fitness.
But in this context, look at who you're playing...South Africa, the worst ODI SA ever! Even Pakistan beat them and Pakistan are a middling ODI side these days. Our ODI stats in bowling are worse than minnows... What are you talking about?
Shamsi Maharaj are light years ahead as spinners in LOIs compared to Ash Chahal. Pace attacks is even worse with Bumrah not at his beast in ODis since 2019 averaging over 100. Stop being delusional.
It would have to be pretty extreme... players tend to get more frequent drink breaks, and more leniency with regards to people coming on the field with water etc.Is there an official rule regarding weather and being way to hot, just asking because of this predicted for tomorrow at Paarl:

Was it Clive Rice who wore that funky necklace back in the day to combat heat in IndiaIt would have to be pretty extreme... players tend to get more frequent drink breaks, and more leniency with regards to people coming on the field with water etc.
Can you imagine how much **** the players would cop if they decided to nix a game because of heat? "weak as piss, back in my day" etc etc.It would have to be pretty extreme... players tend to get more frequent drink breaks, and more leniency with regards to people coming on the field with water etc.
this must be like 5 games tops surely?Bumrah not at his beast in ODis since 2019 averaging over 100. Stop being delusional.
If they played the 2002 UAE series when it was 50+ degrees, it seems unlikely that there'll be any delays here.....I've never seen a previously scheduled cricket game being called off because it was too hot tbh. Probably one of the big things the game has going for it long term...
10.this must be like 5 games tops surely?
****ing hell, how? players can fluke enough wickets to keep their average below 100 in 10 games.
Yikes 50+If they played the 2002 UAE series when it was 50+ degrees, it seems unlikely that there'll be any delays here.....
