5th Test at Hobart - 14-19 Jan 2022

terrible. this batting has so many flaws i could drive a semi through. even the england batting will be better in their home conditions in a best of 5, says enough.

Carey was never test standard and was picked, i dont know why.

edit - no ball has just saved him - but he wont last very long anyway

I think the umpires were wrong and that shouldn't have been a no ball.

I think the bowler was crazy for pushing the line so hard.

I think the batsman was a spud for chopping on like that.

Low class buffoonery all round.

Eh, it was marginal but I didn't definitively see anything behind the line. Get your bloody foot back, no sympathy

i can only presume that the people in this thread have all decided to post for memes because the idea that it was "miles behind the line" is ludicrous

Wasn't "miles behind the line" but I don't think there was enough in that picture to definitvely say that there wasn't. Surely the benefit of the doubt goes with the bowler in that scenario

You could see he had nothing behind that line from the stumps view man.

I do find it an incredible thing about being human that we can all watch exactly the same footage, with pretty good quality, and come up with a different reaction. Some saying (commentators) clear no ball, some saying something behind the line, me saying well I'm not sure but I'm leaning towards I see nothing behind the line so it's a fair call.
