He's just the wrong bowler for the wicket. Like MJ in England in 2015; good bowler but the wrong bowler for greentops.Yeah for bowlers who are bowling well. Which Wood is not.
How can you play the reserve bowler from the 1st test for four tests in a row? Doesn't add up.Mark Waugh rightly trashing this bowling. What kind of moron drops Anderson when you have a wicket like this?

There's a reason why Wood's English record is so much worse than his contemporaries.....He's just the wrong bowler for the wicket. Like MJ in England in 2015; good bowler but the wrong bowler for greentops.
If only England had a bowler who has taken a gazillion wickets over a decade and a half on such pitches...
Doen't excuse the excrecable selection but I'm not convinced at least one of Warner and Smith would be out already if he was playing. Hard to improve on what Robinson did and Anderson doesn't stand the ball up off the seam the same way. That said those three is a far stronger combination than having Wood.If only England had a bowler who has taken a gazillion wickets over a decade and a half on such pitches...
If he plays on decks like this, yeah. There's a reason why Wood's English record is so much worse than his contemporaries.....
