cbf reading the whole thread, but has anyone attempted to ‘prove’ the trajectory wrong from the side on view. Because just eyeballing it from side on there doesn’t seem to be anything outlandish about it just going over.
nah. No one actually cares enough about the decision itself, we're just enjoying the Indians' reaction to it haha

Would be good if this was true but there’s a definite undercurrent (and for some posters overcurrent) that the decision was erroneous somehow.

some people think the use of Hawkeye has been a bit ~dodgy all series (some discussion on if impact points are being entered in correctly), but the pitches have just been crazy bouncy all tour.

Maybe @Shri cares enough to bust out a ruler and attempt his own analysis?

Ashwin gets so many of those high-ish LBWs from length balls with the batsman well forward, never would’ve got any of them pre-DRS so should be grateful tbh

It's not even that they're saying it was erroneous, it's the apparent conspiracy between the home team and host broadcaster which is the most laughably enjoyable.

Can't be that it was either missing (knee roll playing forward to what looks like a toppie on a deck that isn't a SC underground-bouncing bunsen) or if not that there's a tech error. It's gotta be Team India the sad and sorry victims of yet another terrible conspiracy by a host nation. Genuinely the worst tourists in world sport.

The explanation was "Covid" mate. Probably just as well though, saved us from being subjected to the awful SA cricket conspiracy India find themselves the victims of here
