Hes not... just had few very good seasons. Don't trust his technique at all. More a LO player and/or old fashioned number 7 wk/batsmen.

Which I'd like to clarify is not the worst thing if we have a settled batting line up. But him at 6 in this lineup is trouble imho.

I like Bavuma visually as a player, looks compact and usually quite assured at the crease. But think it's time to pull the plug now even though he's had a reasonable series. Just gets out far too often between 20-40

Tbh Vdd is a bigger dud than Bavuma. Still scoring clutch runs at least.

He would be a decent number 7. But we have Rickelton as an opener and need to drop Markram to 4... so alternate options available.

Temba has the technique Rassie has the temperament combined they would make a great player... individually they are useless.

Sadly most of Tembas career he has not be the statistical worst player... which says lots about SA recent batting issues.
