All too inevitable. Unless he takes significant wickets I don't think he's playing Hobart.

Nah no way. Harris is getting the entire series. Then if he doesn't get a century, someone is going to get thrown into the cauldron for India, then Harris gets reselected next summer at home. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

Who knows though. I hope Usman gets given opening duties for India and totally kills it.
I didn’t think the india tour was until 2023?

Is this the most bowler friendly Ashes down under in I dunno 20 years ? Every pitch has done significantly more than an average australian pitch. Not complaining because it's less boring than usual .

I thought it was this year, whoops.

Either way, I want Harris gone forever. I don't care about some posters who say "BUT HE'S LOOKING MORE COMFORTABLE", well that fills me with great hope he can average 32 at test level.

these are some of the most bowler friendly pitches in australia in my lifetime, over the course of a series. and we still have hobart to come, which is good for a rank greentop or two.

2013-14 Ashes was fairly bowler friendly. But I think you have to go a lonnnnngggg time before you find a series in Australia as bowler-friendly as this.

What do we even do with green at this point? More shield cricket isn't gonna help him and hauling him over to the subcontinent isn't gonna help him much either. Don't think he gets in next test anyway with ussie making 50 and head coming back.
