The Wheel is Forever
A lead of 30-40 will be very useful given the fragile Indian batting lineup.
Yeah he's lacked that zip for whatever reason, hasn't extracted the movement that Shami and especially Thakur have. Also not quite been as accurate as usual.Bumrah hasnt looked like getting a wicket at all.
He's not even bowling. Have no idea what India are playing at.why the hell is siraj on the field if he can't even get close to that
It's also worth noting that Thakur is basically a near 100% starter in away games and was just injured for a couple of them.Oh yeah I'm just trying to contextualise why he might fail the "eye test", which implicitly is a "how do you think he'd do in all conditions?" test, as that's the ultimate test of a cricketer's technical skillset.
Can't agree with this logic. Broad got dropped last test while Olonga played all tests for Zimbabwe.Without wanting to downplay what Thakur has done, Jamieson also has been picked for every game he's been available for of late - including those on really unfavourable pitches for his bowling.
As ever, getting left out of Tests when they conditions aren't clearly in your favour is a eligibility fail for me to be classed as a high quality Test cricketer. Clearly a matchwinner in the right conditions though.
so did the one that didn't bounceBumrah's bowled some piss poor bouncers. Almost every one has sailed over the batsman's head .
