You all know deep down that India is ****ed in this game, especially after below par total and then Siraj's injury. You can hope as much as you want but reality is India will most likely lose this match. And the bookies agree.

Lord better do something with the ball. He has been Trundling ever since that Gabba game. Need to bowl in mid 130's at least here.
He will be dropped after this match if he fails to make up for Siraj's absence.

This is his final chance to bowl like a fast bowler and not like a trundler

I was also feeling like this. Then I watched Sreesanth's highlights. Now I am feeling much better.

The stakes couldn't be any higher for him than in this innings/this match, as he is gonna go straight to bench from next game onwards.
Nope, he has made some big contributions in his very short career. Don't think they'll just leave him out. He is officially the poor man's Kapil Dev(step aside Ajit Bhalchandra Agarkar).

Also, please take a look at this recent score card again and appreciate the Lord.

He picked only 3 wickets, but those were the most important wickets of the game. Without his first innings 50, we would have been out of the game. The half-century in the second innings was not necessary but the Lord just wanted to cheer us up in these testing times.

"Trust in the lord with all your heart."

too many of these soft tissue injuries make me think we are not doing something right fitness wise, apart from other fitness issues in the team. the Australian tour was understandable because many of them couldn't train at home during the lockdown.

I think India have enough tbh. SA are really wobbly at best and the world sits on Elgar's shoulders thanks to de Kock.

The SA bowling attack is scary I agree.

You would think lockdown would give you more opportunities to train.. Far less distractions,.

What happened in Australia was simply inexcusable.. It didn’t affect the end result so no one talks about it but it’s akin to burying your head in the sand.

players need nets, running tracks, gyms, pools, etc to train in lockdown. not all of them have access to it while at home. Don't know how many cricketers are actually are capable of doing S&C on their own without physios present either tbh. Could end up aggravating existing injuries instead if they're not careful.

plus the real issue is the volume of cricket and travel the players have been playing, especially since lockdown has eased up. That sort of schedule is brutal on everyone.
