*Ross actually hits a slog*
*fielder in the deep drops a sitter*

Let's keep this going!

But actually, it does look like it is wisely the end for the Boss. :(

Taylor legit reaaaaally sucks at this point. Any runs from him are a massive bonus.
WTF is Ross doing here?
you would think he'd want to finish off as well as possible at the end of his career.
the ONLY good thing he could achieve in this match is that he helps SAVE the game for NZ.
getting out to a slog sweep in the status of this match is nothing short of ********.
he can still help save the game, but boy o boy you can't help but feel he's gone mental towards the end of his career.

It's not reversing you blind commentators.
Shoriful Islam to Taylor, no run
44.2
Past the outside edge. Shoriful is causing problems with this around the wicket angle. He is definitely getting it to reverse. And subtly. This lands at a length, entices Taylor to play on the angle and then cuts away every so slightly to beat the front foot push

Have you not watched much Taylor?

Using the slog sweep to collect a few boundaries and remove a close fielder is a tactic he often used in the early and middle parts of his career. Today I suspect he is not trusting his defense against spin as much as he has in the last 2-3 seasons, so willing to bring back the slog-sweep.
