The Wheel is Forever
So when does India declare. I say try and play 6 overs and get 40-45 runs
Yeah I don’t know what this new Kohli/Dravid regime is going to be like, but I think declaring with a lead of 300 would be great.

however, given that India have never won a Test series in SA and this is their best chance of going that, they may play more conservatively. They don’t want to be 0-1 here.

I know Rabada's had a good year but idk, he doesn't look anywhere near the level he was about 5 years ago
Not been at his best this match. And I do think he has struggled more since SA bowling kept changing and struggling in the last few years. Not as much certainty about his role.

Missed most of today, but looks like we should have enough to win.

Ashwin's first review was brilliant, couldn't get it right twice tho. Some brutal bowling by Rabada to him today.

Yeah I've watched him a few times this year now. He's taken wickets, don't get me wrong, but he doesn't quite look the Rabada of old. Certainly better than the last few years though when he was genuinely quite mediocre.

This is a huge opportunity though. Good batting day one has put them in a with massive shout here. Would be disappointing if they bat on too long, though tbh I suspect they’ll get bowled out having a slog anyway once/ if they get to 300 in front

Should declare ASAP, weather might be an issue day 5 which makes a chase improbable and on this sort of pitch the quicks could get hurt pretty easily batting.
