Good advice there from the commentators for how Cam Green should construct an inning.
The only problem with Shane Warne's advice "work the singles at the start of your inning" it takes a lot of skill to get a single. Often waiting for bad balls and hitting boundaries is easier as the boundary ball you attack is rank, working a single requires good batsmanship and it requires "attacking" a good delivery (which needs skill). So my point is, it is easier said than done to just say "go and work singles against Jimmy Anderson to get off strike against him".Good advice there from the commentators for how Cam Green should construct an inning.
Did you put this together yourself?
Imagine what backing Harris will do for Australian cricketLanger's contract is coming to an end soon, should it be renewed or not? I know he's not particularly liked but he's made some very good calls inbetween (backing marnus, promoting marsh to 3 in t20's.) Marsh decision in particular basically won us a T20 WC.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves :-)yeah but their fielding never cooperated before, now for the first time, they are in a position to keep any aussie lead trivial at worst...
Gill was hardly shell-shocked ffs. Pretty sure he shell-shocked Starc instead.Gill, pope and green all dominate FC but look shell-shocked at test level. Nissanka is the only one I can think of who has been consistently solid.
Is that why his top score since is 52?Gill was hardly shell-shocked ffs. Pretty sure he shell-shocked Starc instead.
Where's the evidence he was capable of doing thatHe thought Leach would bowl better than he did
He looked terrible against anderson. Was pretty lucky to miss the series in England.Gill was hardly shell-shocked ffs. Pretty sure he shell-shocked Starc instead.
The marnus call is surely one of the best lately in Australian cricketLanger's contract is coming to an end soon, should it be renewed or not? Having issues with swing in good swinging conditions is not "shell-shock". It's not like he's barely making runs and starts. He looked terrible against anderson. Was pretty lucky to miss the series in England.
Gill's had some genuinely gun moments at Tests tbf, a little bit different to Pope or Green IMO.What's with all these gun young FC bats struggling at test level recently. Gill, pope and green all dominate FC but look shell-shocked at test level. Nissanka is the only one I can think of who has been consistently solid.
