what does the 15 extra minutes happening at tea do to the final session times? does the first hour of next session only go for 45 minutes before the last hour/15 overs?
Presume so. Otherwise it’s unfair, and we’d have to put an asterisk next to this whole series much like 17-18

Man this Australian side has constantly sucked at bowling sides out in the 4th innings.
Part of me feels like the rise of white-ball cricket has made 4th innings batting a lot easier than previous before. Especially if the pitch isn't turning.

Does seem like Australia feel worse at it than others.

I wonder if Buttler as a specialist bat and captain could turn England around and leave Root to score runs. He could be McCullumesque.
Hmmm they've played him as a specialist batsman before and he wasn't great. Does he even have any captaincy exposure either?

We definitely seem to be much better with a fresh pitch than an old one.
