tbh it’ll help him with his batting if he’s bowling like this, less pressure to keep his spot on the batting alone. still gotta fix that trigger movement though, if shane watson made a test career with a front pad the size of mars then so can he

Ha, Watson's Test career was why I've been a bit more skeptical of his batting upside in contrast to a lot of the Aus cricket consensus.

I think he can still be a good #6, but honestly if he can get his bowling right the sky's the limit.

like i don’t think he’s going to be sobers reincarnate, i’ve said that anything in the high 30s would be more than adequate if he can bowl like that. useful gully too.
