I’m sure this has been commented on already, but why does England continue with their obsession with 4 specialist quicks plus Root? Their sides had a horribly unbalanced look all winter, and now here we are again with 4 medium pacers slogging in relying on bowling half trackers before lunch on day 1, while a part time off spinner creates more close shaves in one over than the rest of the attack has produced all session. Wasn’t Stokes’ reintroduction supposed to put an end to this ****?

Yes and you might nick it. I’m not saying he sucks I’m just saying he’s human and is probably due to nick the odd one.

Yeah when he isn't in form, those things will find the edge. My point being, there aren't many ways to play than the way he is playing when it starts to move of the surface.

Doesn’t mesh with what I’ve been watching. Plenty of opportunities for conventional dismissals from the seamers. Just a lack of luck and a lack of persistence. Of course they will probably keep bowling half trackers and make the detractors look right, but an attack full of medium pacers absolutely could have succeeded here

Whatever pink ball advantage that England was having with Anderson is balanced out by the fact that they haven't picked a spinner on this deck. Also, they have to face Lyon in the same conditions, doesn't look good for them unless they pull off something outstanding.

Barossa and Claire Valleys. Both are two of the greatest wine regions in the world.

Clare Valley a fair way out ins't it? Would recommend both though. Barossa too. Gorgeous, especially in winter imo.The Hills has some nice little spots too, and McLaren Vale is next level beautiful. Would really recommend it in summer. And not far away. If you're actually in Adelaide itself, nothing is more than 20 minutes away from anyplace else.

That d'Arenberg Cube is awesome, and a day down at the pub one water there near Maclarne Vale is awesome, maybe lunch at Star of Greece, then dip your toe in the water and get eaten by a Great White.

This is a pretty good point tbh.

He could correct a lot of it by getting his hands higher as soon as the ball is short, but that sort of thing takes time to adjust to. You can also only do it on certain decks. This one has a bit of seam in it which keeps you interested. On old Adelaide or at Melbourne or Sydney you'd be calling for a wheelchair after an hour trying.
