Starc is bloody good and I fully expect him to turn things around like Mitchell Johnson had done after a lean patch. He has the x-factor, just needs to stop bowling those short of good length deliveries when there's no swing on offer. Also, he is pretty handy with the bat, definitely can't think of a better 3rd seamer.Australia need to start looking past Starc and Lyon. They have only 2 reliable bowlers now : Cummins and Hazzlewood
You've pretty much pulled all the cliches that no one would ever use if he was the same in every way except right handed.Starc is bloody good and I fully expect him to turn things around like Mitchell Johnson had done after a lean patch. Unless you give others chance, you won't know if someone is better.Starc is bloody good and I fully expect him to turn things around like Mitchell Johnson had done after a lean patch. Creates rough for Lyon as wellYou've pretty much pulled all the cliches that no one would ever use if he was the same in every way except right handed.
He can't bowl himself and Haze forever though. This is poor captaincy from Cummins. Should have bowled himself or Haze atleast from one end after Tea. Now these 2 batsmen have nicely settled.
I can see close to 400 veins on his forehead lololololDid Lyon get 400 yet
Jhye Richardson is younger, a better bat and actually taking poles. Starc has the left arm factor and incumbency but he's gone if he doesn't get his **** together soon. Has had his fair share Of bad recently, particularly in the 2nd and 3rd test vs India, but he's looked crap in anything redball since Gill tore him apartStarc is bloody good and I fully expect him to turn things around like Mitchell Johnson had done after a lean patch. I'm a bit confused, are you saying that's bad orIf green does the stokes thing of averaging 30/35 or something around there with bat and ball respectively how long do CA give him?
It always frustrates me that our selectors never experiment after winning a series. I'm not in favour of chopping and changing like England but they could give a fringe guy a go every now and again. Especially frustrating if it's like the India series. If there was any point to 'rest' Starc, it was then when he'd bowled poorly and looked completely cooked. It's like they'll pick guys up until they retire.Unless you give others chance, you won't know if someone is better.
Not bad but it's bit particularly great is it?. Sorry if it wasn't clear, ment early career stokes, Not currentI'm a bit confused, are you saying that's bad or
Warne again? I've got it muted, so I'm missing out whatever these pearls of wisdom are.STFU you insufferable ****. Just let them have their ****ing test match.
A low 30s average in both batting and bowling is basically what you want from your all-rounder. I personally think Green will be better than that with the bat, not convinced with the ball yet thoughNot bad but it's bit particularly great is it? Marsh's career stats are basically that with a batting average of 27 instead of 30. Sorry if it wasn't clear, ment early career stokes.
I'd just like it if one of the coaching staff at least had a talk to him about his action. Heck, same with Smith, tell him to bat like he did in 13/14.Lyon has looked really average for many years if we’re being honest. Still would be a brave man to drop him for Swepson.
