Just a dying sport tbh, very niche demographic as recent events have shown. The 100 might be able to get a few more kids playing, maybe not. ECB have failed miserably getting kids in state schools interested in the game, they claim the 100 money will allow them to do it but governance so bad it is doubtful. Think ECB happy to have pretty good white ball sides and to play pretty well in Tests at home.
Yeah becoming a complete waste of time watching England play tests away from home

They only care about lining their own pockets unfortunately.

Getting it back on terrestrial is key, break off from Sky a bit with the 100 money and get a summer test match on C4 or BBC. Not a silver bullet but kids participation numbers are frightening.

That’s one way to dramatically **** the bed when given faith.
Assuming you're referring to Leach getting another over. It's obvious they must have planned to attack him but he's had very little answer, surprisingly for someone so experienced, though the conditions won't help.

I'd like to see the numbers after the 2019 WC and Ashes too and whether it made any impact at all. I'd suspect not.

Yeah, pay tv can give a short term monetary boost, but neither Australia nor England are like the US where a lot of people have it, and sports being invisible means an inevitable decline.

If only Stuart Broad hadn't been medically retired. The former bowler would have been such a valuable asset on this pitch.

Be very surprised, i think the 100 tv coverage will be the best measure. Whilst i despised the mens version i am not blinded to the fact that it can have wider benefits. Women's version an absolute home run in all aspects though, my godson plays cricket because of how much he loved watching them
