I feel a bit bad for England, I think they tried to make the positive plays here. Won the toss and batted, picked the spinner even though it could have been so tempting to pick Broad, Buttler looked like he figured a decent way to bat in tests and maximize his natural abilities. I still think Hameed and Pope are defensive selections when you got Crawley and Lawrence on the bench. I just dont see either of them making much more than 60 at their best here in Aus, but the ceiling for both Crawley and Lawrence is so much more. You need to make some brave selection calls if you wanna beat Aus in Aus and while they are trying to be positive, they did not quite make those calls yet IMO.

That said, this Aussie line up is quite prone to collapsing too. Even if they are bowled out for 150, there is a chance they can get Australia rolled for 200 too. There is life in this game, yet, I feel.

Warner could kill it very soon though.
