Can work when you have the personnel to do it, like KW, Watling and an in- form Nicholls in the UAE. Then again this attack is probably a level above Pakistan’s in 2018.

Jayant such a wonderful team man. Everytime the fielder or keeper screw up a chance, he helps them out by having overstepped.

Bowling was fine that series, the batting just decided to Pakistan one day and play scoop shots chasing ****ing 176. There was a damn innings win in that series. It was probably the most ridiculous Pakistan-style choke ever.

Will Sommerville is a ****ing hack and doesn't deserve the glory of an away series win in Asia

Be interesting to see who they pick out of Young, Nicholls, Ravindra and Mitchell once Williamson and Conway are back. I guess Taylor could come out but Nicholls has runs on the board and the other 3 have made key contributions here.

Yeah, people should be allowed to bat in the way that maximises their influence on the game rather than to a predetermined plan.

I think part of Kanes issue lately is he has become a bit grindy himself. When I think to all his best knocks on tour he's usually very busy pushing the singles and twos.

Mitchell and Nicholls are decent players but far from the most talented batsmen in the squad, which makes the first innings collapse all the more obnoxious.
