Bowling changes spot on but think the commentators are right in picking on some of the field placings.

I know Somerville always bowls pretty straight and it can be a legitimate tactic with legside catchers, but I really hate that line instead of aiming to pitch just outside offstump and spin back in to attack the wickets.

Also control of length from both our spinners not as good as India's. Ajaz bowling a bit better, that was a good one.

Patel starting to bowl very well. Somerville needs to repay the faith here, if he wants to remain in contention for next year’s UAE tour. Getting his line right would be a start, been too middle-and-leg to the RHBs.

Any Mumbaikars here, thoughts on the turnout? Wankhede has been starved of test cricket in the last decade, and don’t think there are any attendance restrictions. Are we likely to see a better crowd for the weekend?

Well, this isn't ideal.
we just had the worst preparation for a test series the world has ever known,
our 2 best batsman are out injured,
and to put the cream on top we just lost our 100th consecutive toss.
you're right....this isn't ideal!!!

If Somerville is going to persist with this legside garbage can we at least get a legslip in?

Also he's a weird offspinner in that he often drifts the ball in to the right hander instead of away. It all just ends up a whole load of legside.
