It looks that way now but may not, when India are bowling.Looks like playing spin is easier than pace given the variable bounce.
It's a low slow pitch that is terrible for pace bowlers. Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson are just very good bowlers, and our spinners are relatively poor.Yeah, the problem for NZ will be that this is a pitch where all bowlers seem dangerous. Fast bowlers with the swing and uneven bounce.
lol... Uneven bounce, uneven pace and loads of swing and reverse swing. This is as good as it gets for seamers in India mate, perhaps as good as it gets anywhere in SC.It's a low slow pitch that is terrible for pace bowlers. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm seeing small amounts of swing and small amounts of reverse swing.lol... Uneven bounce, uneven pace and loads of swing and reverse swing. This is as good as it gets for seamers in India mate, perhaps as good as it gets anywhere in SC.
Just like turn, you dont need a LOT of it for swing and reverse swing to be effective. They are good bowlers who have bowled very well, but make no mistake, these are as good as it gets in terms of conditions for seamers in India and even in the SC overall.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I'm seeing small amounts of swing and small amounts of reverse swing.
Have seen the ball swing around corners, particularly in SL but also some tests in India too. I don't think this is one of those pitches.
And Jamieson's has crept above 15Good to see Southee with his average below 28 (27.99). 319 wickets in his 80th test. Impressive numbers.
