Well Somerville at least providing some control now. Line has improved a bit. But would like to see Rachin get a spell soon.
Has been a problem with Kane for a long time. Very hesitant to use the spinners fully.

Kyle has barely played any cricket recently, please don't break him.

Santner used to bowl 2-3 overs spell.

Man these Indian commos constantly talking about how great Wagner is whilst the camera follows the great man as he prowls around the boundary. These pricks really know how to twist the knife.
Genuinely bewildered by him not being picked. I guess they figured they couldn't have Rachin as the full second spinner but if that's the case then maybe we should have waited till the home summer to debut him.

No disrespect to Ajaz or Somerville but Ravindra has probably been very accurate so far. I'd have picked Wagner ahead of Somerville. Offies to Indian lineup full of right handers probably not the smartest of picks.

The SG ball may not be suiting Ajaz as much. Needs bit more time to get in the groove. Besides he's not had much cricket since Bangladesh tour. Early days still, I bank on him to make good impact going forward.

Yeah agreed but just trying to figure out the reasoning.

Yes his apprentice roundness Ajaz, as the first spinner picked, has been short of what he'd have been hoping for. Thing is he has beaten the bat a few times and could easily have had a wicket or two. But unusually inaccurate inbetween, would not be happy with econ rate 3.73. I trust him to bowl better as the match progresses though.

Didn't see Somerville's last spell aside from the near-lbw, but while he's been more accurate thought he looked less like getting a wicket than Ajaz until that point.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Somervilles last spell was getting some nice drift at times and good control - would say he's outbowled Ajaz somewhat despite going mostly at right handers.
